Leica M7 with 28mm PinZonie

The PinZonie is a modern interpretation of  historic imaging solutions: the Pinhole and Zone Plate. An exciting collaborative project between Matt Abelson of Abelson Scope Works and Stephen Schaub of the Figital Revolution, the PinZonie is a must-have creative tool for the alt-process photographer. The PinZonie will fit all Leica M Mount Cameras to include: All Leica M Cameras, the new Zeiss Ikon, Voigtlander Bessa Cameras with M mount, Epson RD-1, Minolta CLE,  and the new Panasonic Micro 4/3 system with adapter. In all this new system will fit over 33 different cameras! The PinZonie System is an open design: each aperture (2 on the 28mm example above) can be changed at any time from a pinhole of different sizes— to affect image quality— to zone plate, photon sieve or a slit, the choice is yours. The PinZonie will be available in a range of focal lengths; more info to follow soon. Each PinZonie is hand-made in the USA.

The next post with additional information and pictures will be made in 6 days on June 22nd, 2009… stay tuned!!

It is now the 25th August. Have you completed your testing and is your product ready for purchasing?

    Thank you

    • Testing is now done but there are a few issues to still resolve to keep the price point one that is reasonable….
